Missions:
Peniel Baptist Church (PBC) is committed to missions and the Biblical mandate as presented by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20. The Mission Committee of PBC will encourage, promote, and facilitate missions’ activities, and keep church members excited about missions.
International Missions:
The church has an aggressive Missions ministry with a high percentage of its local Aruba budget committed to financially support international missions’ activities. Several pastors, missionaries, and Christian organizations are supported prayerfully and financially through the Missions Committee of Peniel Baptist Church.
Local Missions:
Local Aruba Missions activities include periodic house to house visitation, Evangelism track distributions, personal evangelism, and summer Vacation Bible School (VBS).
In July 2008, Peniel had its first VBS which was led by a visiting team from Nassau Bay Baptist church (NBBC from Houston, Texas) including NBBC’s pastor David Fannin. The theme for that VBS was “Outrigger Island (Living God’s Unbreakable Truth).” More than 90 children and youth attended that VBS with a result of over 30 confessions of faith in Jesus Christ. Peniel continues to hold the VBS each summer at no charge to the children. We give glory and honor to the LORD for the many children and teenagers who made confessions of faith in Jesus Christ while in VBS.
Peniel also has been active in support of reaching children through APEM (Aliansa Pro Evangelizashon di Muchanan), the local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) on Arubao.
